Gilles Villeneuve a man, a legend - Thirty years after his death
Joseph Gilles Henri Villeneuve, better known as Gilles, was born January 18, 1950 in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (Quebec, Canada).
He started his career in Formula 1 at the Grand Prix of Great Britain 1977 with McLaren, but already in the next GP he was hired by Scuderia Ferrari, the world-champion constructor, for the last two races of the season and with which he raced until 1982 when, during the tragic qualifying at Zolder for the GP of Belgium, he died in a crash at 225 km / h.
The exhibition is a collaboration with Donelli Wine and Jonathan Giacobazzi, already sponsors of Villeneuve, whose private collection, for the first time ever, will be shown in public.
Great pictures, videos of various public and private archives, memorabilia and objects, as well as two Formula 1 cars driven by Villeneuve will carry on the legend of a great F1 champion still loved and admired by sports fans.
